The year 2024 marks a historic event for the Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University Public Administration Study Programme. It will be the first time that Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University's Public Administration Study Programme will organise an international conference to discuss the most pressing and urgent issues in public administration and global strategic issues.

Climate change poses great challenges to the world community, including communities at various global levels and the impact of climate change on rural communities is very real and significant. One of the most striking impacts is the increasing frequency and intensity of natural disasters, such as floods, droughts, and storms. In the face of inevitable climate change, adaptation is a crucial step. Adaptation is the act of adjusting to the impacts of climate change, with the aim of minimising risk and increasing resilience.

One of the manifestations of academic accountability in encouraging innovation and adaptation to climate change is to build the core foundation of development and conduct various anticipations in the context of public administration and social science governance.
